Wednesday Night KidMo Children's Ministry
The KidMo program is a multi-media
based curriculum designed for kids K-5th that runs on five week lessons which are held
together by different fun themes . Our first lesson was
football theme called BLITZ (Bold Living In The Zone) where
the students were encouraged to not be ashamed of their
faith but be proudly live for what they believe. Every
lesson starts with a time of worship “KidMo style”. Then the
lesson is taught by the ever popular Johnny Rodgers with the
help of dignified guests such as Professor Sporkin Beans.
Professor Beans is one of many hilarious personalities who
help teach weekly “memory max” bible verses and drive home points like; “ you have to know Gods way,
to go Gods way.” Then the kids are split into teams to compete in “KwizMo”,
answering questions about the lesson and earning points and
the winning team is awarded a fantastic prize (ok it’s not
always “fantastic” but you’d be surprised how motivating a
tootsie pop can be.) We have been amazed at the bible verse
retention rate and the desire to apply the lessons with
little or no coaxing. Even the volunteers have been blessed beyond words.
Come check us out Wednesday nights at
7:00pm
