Our Protestant Faith
The Assemblies of God is a Protestant fellowship.
We believe each person may commune directly with God based on Jesus'
death on the cross. This provides a personal and meaningful relationship with Him.
While we are less formal in our worship to God than many Protestant denominations,
the Assemblies of God is very similar in faith, with the exception
of our Pentecostal doctrine.
Hebrews 4:14-16
Hebrews 6:20
Ephesians 2:18

FACTS
|
|
Protestantism is one of the three major branches
of Christianity, originating in the 16th-century Reformation.
A variety of Protestant denominations grew out of the Reformation.
The doctrines of the various Protestant denominations vary considerably,
but all emphasize the supremacy of the Bible in matters of faith
and order, justification by grace through faith and not through
works, and the priesthood of all believers.
