Sunday School

There is nothing more engaging than a Bible story presented by a competent storyteller or a lively discussion of biblical truth directed by a gifted leader. At First Assembly, we have dedicated, informed teachers who love people and feel called to share His Holy Word. Come join us each Sunday morning at 9:30am in one of the many Sunday School classes that we provide.

Nursery (0-2)
Our Nursery Mothers understand babies who learn to love and trust adults, is the first step in learning to love and trust God.
Toddlers & Twos
Making that transition between being a totally dependent baby to a more independent preschooler can be frustrating. Our Leaders let toddlers explore their world with their senses and help them interpret their discoveries.
Preschool
Preschoolers learn by doing. The Bible says to teach children while they walk, eat, sit, and get up and are on the go. (See Deuteronomy:6:5-7.) In our preschool classes, we teach them about God and Jesus and about the Bible while they play! Whatever they are playing, we relate to something God wants them to know. When they learn on the go, they will be doers of the Word, not just hearers.
Kindergarten
More than just talking about applying truth, our kindergarten classes are filled with "teachable moments" when the children are actually living out what they learn from Bible verses, stories, and songs.
Primary (Grades 1 & 2)
Helping students embrace the greater truths of the Bible as Jesus taught them will Strengthen children spiritually so that when they are grown, they will live for the Lord.
Middle (Grades 3 & 4)
Continuing to build upon the lessons from primary classes, allowing students to grow Spiritually and strengthening their relationship with Christ.
Pre-Teen (Grades 5 & 6)
During the Pre-teen years, our Leaders continue to instill solid Biblical values. We help these young people understand how to measure life decisions by the Bible, not by what seems popular or "fair." Helping them renew their minds through the study and memorization of the Word. Allowing them to discover their God-given purpose.
Young Teen (Jr. High)
God's Word is absolutely relevant to the lives of young teeenagers. Learning and growth are always a process of crossing bridges both ways - teachers going to students and coming back with them. Relational bridges are being built at First Assembly to assist with their relationship in Christ.
High School
At First Assembly, identifying with our youth is a priority. If students don´t learn to connect their faith to the outside world, they may eventually put it aside. Campus life definitely tests one´s dedication to Christ, but class time at First Assembly can prepare students for class time outside of church.
Young Adult (College & Career)
Young Adults have energy, ideas, creativity, and passion. At First Assembly, we encourage the use of these gifts for the benefit of people and purposes of God. We provide the resources that contribute to personal and spiritual growth in everyday life.
20 Something (Young Marrieds)
To experience a definite and progressive Christian experience and Christlike living is the goal in this Sunday School class. We discuss Christian parenthood and/or home relationships as well as our responsibility in the church, in attendance, service, and support.
Senior Adult
We're never to old to serve our God! Our seniors class is provided to encourage those, at this age in life, to participate in activities that allow for spiritual growth and health, evangelistic outreach, and wholesome fellowship.

At First Assembly, Sunday School has something special for everyone.

This is a special time for Spiritual growth and for learning more about God's word in a open discussion environment. Come join us for Sunday School and build your relationships with others and with Christ!
