Senior´s Ministry
Welcome to "PrimeTimers",
The Older Adult Ministry of First Assembly.
We are excited to have a very active older-adult ministry. This wonderful
ministry is open to adults age 50 and over, and we never sit idle.
We are involved in several ministries within
the church and outside the church. Our primary ministry
is to local area nursing homes, where we sing, play music
and preach the Word of God to people in these homes. We
have had several opportunities to win people in their 80's
and even 90's to the Lord, many just before passing away.
Another
area of our ministry includes the Old Tyme Camp
Meetin' Gospel Singers. This lively group ministers
all over, whenever they have the opportunity. They sing good
ole foot-stompin' gospel music, and have many talented musicians
who play along.
We also meet once a month for various activities,
which include things like BBQ's, picnics, pot luck dinners,
Name That Tune, and a host of other activities. If you are
looking for a church with an active older-adult ministry,
this is the place for you!
